SINGING AGAIN - ORIGINAL ABSTRACT ART

Hey Friends,  As I recall I had Beaux Jacque blaring on my tiny little player, even with a sub-par CD player, Beaux and the Hi-Rollers sound great.  I was singing along too.

Once in a while I play ADELE but I usually wind up crying and can't see what I'm working so don't play her too often.  Was thinking I would like to find John Denver on a CD but he makes me cry too so maybe not.

This happy little piece is listed for sale on my website HERE!
Have a look and thanks for stopping by.

PAINTING LEFT FIELD

Hey Friends,  Just finished a small series of  plein air started oil paintings.  I started them with acrylics, as the block in, before going out to this fantastic farm in Buchanan, Va. with my paint buddies, the Double Line Painters.  Obviously I put foliage on the trees, they are just so unappealing naked.

We went last week, and it was and still is winter time here in SW Va.  We even had tornadoes in the area Sunday!! Very unusual for this area.  Lynchburg, Forest area got the worst of it.

Above is what this small painting could look like, but much better if it was framed.  Maybe some day I will learn to frame them on line.  The middle photo is just a detail shot of the tree shadows.

This is for sale on Ebay and it should be dry tomorrow and ready for shipment.

I will post the others scattered over the coming week.

No. 3 in the Chartreuse Challenge and a Hint about a Workshop

Hey Friends,  Yep, Only the 3rd!  I'm suffering through a bad bout of the winter blues.  That's what I'm calling it anyway.  Can you get a temperature with the blues?
My face looks a bit snarly up there doesn't it?  Hard to fake it.
I'm calling this one CURRENTS, 'cuz I made it when the electricity was OUT.

On a happier note, a photo from the beautiful EVERGREEN LAVENDER FARM in Appomattox, Va.  The Double Line Painters meet this morning to plan for the workshop coming up on Sat. June 23rd, this summer.  Mark your calendars, you know you don't want to miss this gorgeous place and all the help and hints you will get from this lively group.
More info later of course.
