Deep Breathing

Hey Friends,  The companion to the last post, "Tight Rope Walking".  These titles sound almost depressing or worrisome.  But they are straight from my Gran Babes piano practice book.

After gluing the paper on the canvas and painting the flamingo, I spread the acrylic gel on with a palette knife and while wet, swirl one of those cake frosting things with comb-like teeth.  Sure you know what I'm talking about, everyone has a couple in their drawer.  Ha.
This is going to my Etsy shop-Click Here.

And go to the DLP blog to see all about our reception last night in Lynchburg.

Cardinal for 30 in 30

Hey Friends,  A week later I continue with my feathers series !  AND this mini painting looks garish on my monitor !!  Maybe I'll have a chance to photo-shop it later tonight.
Internet service with Comcast still sucks big time so I'll be lucky if this post goes out.  Then I want to put bird in my DPW store and the 30 in 30 challenge.

The weather is supposed to get rough again tonight and the next few days.  We might even get some snow/ice on Friday, which will create a problem for the Double Line Painters collage workshop on Saturday morning !!  We may have to reschedule,  really hoping not.

Greater Flamingo

6x6 Acrylic on Deep Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Hey Friends, I finally joined the DAILY PAINTWORKS Gallery. It is a website where you can list your art works for sale or auction. Your blog is supposed to be integrated into your shop and it automatically pulls the paintings into your shop !
So this is a test run. I always do hate the first time I do anything on a computer. But I'm no longer afraid of screwing it up, so here we go.

Have a fabulous weekend. The weather doesn't look very promising here or in most of our great country.

Happy Trails.
