HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hey Friends,  Just a small note to tell you how grateful I am to have these two monsters up there in my life.  Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, I will have the joy of their laughter and squabbles while we all enjoy the luscious meal their Mom and Dad have prepared.

We will be able to eat and chat without all the fears and pain so many in this world endure every day.

What more could I be grateful for?

FAMILY NIGHT OUT on Ebay

Hey Friends,  I may be getting back into the swing of  computers.  I find it hard when it's nice outside to stay indoors.  I'm not too disciplined.

I painted this little whimsical piece last week, Maybe?  I'm trying to make pieces for ebay and etsy and shows coming up.  Such as the Lynchburg Fest. at EC Glass High School and Art on the Lawn and Ikenberrys and MORE.

Please go see the news at www.doublelinepaintersoftheblueridge.blogspot.com for more info.  And you can share, we would love that and we would love to see some familiar faces at these shows.

Go check out the family on Ebay - CLICK HERE.

Thanks for stopping in.

ORIGINAL PAINTING TO CELEBRATE MOTHER'S DAY

Hey Friends,  I just posted this in my ETSY Shop.  I love to work on these symbolic eggs and their nest.  Most of the texture is created with a tooth pick !

I scanned this view hoping you could see the gold leaf better.  You can see it's shiny but not gold.

Thanks for stopping by.

LEARNING TO BLOG

Hi to all, Just a quick note to say everything is still OK with my baby!

I have been reading and reading and searching all over the net about anything pertaining to blogs and art works. I'm trying to take in as much as my little pea brain will accept. Just a minute ago I was trying to add an Etsy-Mini to my blog. Didn't work. I'm not sure if a mini is a list or an image. I'll figure it out soon.
From what I've read about blog etiquette, I'm not supposed to post personal or family type info on this blog. So accept my apology for letting the world know my daughter is well. But don't count on it not happening again. I love to paint and talk about it but I also love my family only more so.
Keep 'em short and sweet.
