Hey Friends,  New one on Ebay - CLICK HERE.  This hotel, the Blue Jay has been right where it is for as long as I can remember.  In fact, if I remember correctly, not long after we moved up here to Virginia, my Mom worked there for a short bit.   I don't think she liked it much and did not stay long.

 

And I have a photo of that Donut Cloud !  It was there, for real !

ORIGINAL LANDSCAPE PAINTING - ROAD TO THE SNOW CAPS

 

Hey Friends,  This painting is also done on gessoed matboard.  It's an efficient use of matboard that I've had for quite some time.  It was a gift and I'm glad I finally thought of this.

Lots of artists use gessoed watercolor paper to practice on and this is the same thing.  I'm practicing my craft and listing them on EBAY for sale.  CLICK HERE.

 

This way I get a little bit of money, just enough to buy more paint basically.  But look at all the education this practice is giving me.

Hey Friends,  The last for a few days of the Utility Poles.  "Traveling to the Sun" was created from several photos and is painted on a wrapped 10x8 canvas.  The sides are painted black.

ORIGINAL PAINTING OF UTILITY LINES CUTTING THROUGH HOGG MOUNTAIN

 

Hey Friends,  I spent the entire day light hours cutting picture frame moulding.  I made it through about half of my stock.  And that equals about 20 various sized frames.

 

A couple days ago I finished two pieces in the Utility Series.  Hogg mountain is here and I'll post Traveling to the Sun tomorrow.
