Do you ever feel like your heart/soul is trying to trip you up?  Trying to keep you from growing?

All of this stuff comes from a Crazy Heart.

And just wanted you to know, the DLP's are participating in the South Peak Paint Out , Sat. Oct. 10th.  South Peak is the little village at the top of the monstrous hill across from Tanglewood.  Should be lots of fun from 9-6pm.  Hope you can come up.

Hey Friends,  When I find work that's been packed away or maybe it comes back from gallery, it doesn't always look like something I would typically do.  I enjoy experimenting and trying new techniques so some doesn't fit my NORMAL mode.

 

I always return to my place of contentment.  Mostly Mother Nature.

Hey friends,  Is this the last day?  I just listed this in Ebay  for auction starting at a penny.  Over the years I've done a bunch of water cans with flowers, a bunch.  Just one of those subjects I never tire of.

Day 13 of 30 Days "Beach Butts"

Hey Friends,  Did not think it would happen so quick.  Running out of time, running out of paintings.  But that's what has happened.  This past week was busy with family stuff and not feeling so swell, as in NO SUN depression.  So I'm cheating a bit.  This was painted some time ago and the photos were taken in the Tampa, Fl. area. 
I wanted every painting to be from the trip to Myrtle Beach.  I have about 5 in various stages but none dry enough to scan.  They should be dry enough by tomorrow, so then I'll just carry on.

Day 5 of Leslie Saeta's Challenge

Hey Friends,  Just finished packing a couple of little paintings that were purchased on Ebay !  It is a very, very small beginning but I'm sticking with it this time.  I appreciate all the lovely people that are bidding on my humble little works.  I have meet some pretty special people through my art posting.

This little bird house was in the garden next door to the Whitacker house in Myrtle Beach, SC.  And it was not these colors.  But I'm a colorholic so this is what I saw.  No drugs were involved, really.

 Hey Friends,  Next in my Dictionary series - "The Jaguar".  Didn't we all want a Jaguar at some point in our life.?  I didn't want red, I wanted a baby blue.  Couldn't afford that so I got a baby blue VW Super Bug !

30 in 30 Woody #6

Hey Friends,  Don't know what kind of Woodpecker this is but He's Woody #6.  I'll look for his official name later I must get ready for my "Real Job" and I've got to post here before posting on Leslie's 30 Day Challenge. 
I'm pretty pretty sure I've messed up somewhere,somehow in posting here, Leslie's and DPW.  Can't put my finger on it ('cuz I can't sit here long enough) but they are not synchronized/lined up.

On another note we the DLP (Double Line Painters) will be meeting this Thursday at Smith Mtn.Lake at Midges Lake house to play and make sure of the details for the up coming mixed media collage workshop.
Workshop will be at 2nd Helpings on Sat. Jan. 26th  from 10am til 12:30.  You local friends please come and have fun with us.  Sign up now at 2ndHelpings on Williamson Rd.
