ORIGINAL PAINTING OF AN OLD FASHION CELLAR

Hey Friends,  This little root cellar is in great disrepair.  I spruced it up just for this painting.  Gave it a fresh coat of white wash and planted the white rambling rose.

Fantasy Painting is available .HERE

Nasturtium's Glow

Hey Friends,  Still bringing you some sunshine !  This painting started out pretty abstractly.  I sprayed the milk weed looking pods with water to make the stems from the drips.  Then when I added the transparent orange, it reminded me of my Mom's nasturtiums.  They are the prettiest shade of orange I've ever seen and I'm not a fan of orange.  And you know the bees had to follow.

This painting is framed as shown above.  The frame was plain, I added the color and the crackle glaze.  Both are varnished.
It is available in my Etsy shop, CLICK HERE

Hey Friends, I just added this silly little cocky rooster to my Ebay auctions.  He is painted on painted paper background with machine stitching on it. The auction starts tonight.

This painting above was done at the Evergreen Lavender Farm this summer.  I will have it at the Centerfest Festival tomorrow in Bedford, Va. along with others.
Hope you can stop in for a visit.

What to do with some older paintings ?

Hey Friends,  I am trying to clear my studio of some older paintings.  Maybe these should go in the fire but then again some people like precision/realism.  I don't remember WHY I choose to paint these.  Maybe they would make a nice gift for a gardener.

You can take a look at Ebay by clicking here.  I think the auction ends pretty soon.

Day 19 of Leslie Saeta's Challenge

Hey Friends, A favorite subject for Day 19 - Clouds !   At the state park in Myrtle Beach, SC it was very windy on this day.  I caught some grasses upright when the wind stopped for a second.  I believe it is sea oats.  BTW sea oats grow just about anywhere, they are tough little plants, I guess that's why they hold the sand in place so well.
I've put her in Ebay at Auction, just CLICK HERE.
