ORIGINAL SMALL PAINTING WALKING FAT DOG

Hey Friends,  This painting I decided needed a funny title.  So I'm calling it :WALK, Fat Dog".
A man on the greenway exercising himself and his dog decided to walk along for protection.

Today I also changed my artwork at 2nd Helpings Gallery on Williamson Rd. in Roanoke, Va.  I took in 6 new pieces.

The one immediately under my name to the left, is from the Southport-Calabash area of N.C.  The one under it is from PaintBank, Va.  The top on the right side is also from PaintBank.  The long one on the bottom right is a composite of sorts.

These two smaller pieces are views from Goose Creek in Bedford and a tree on Mill Mountain,.
here in SW Va. Blue Ridge.

All looks good there now.

New Auction and more Windy Plein Aire

Hey Friends,  Been a little while.  I'm still here and going strong.  Out there with the other members of the Double Line Painters in Salem today.
But first go check out this flock for auction on EBAY.

Here is the view we had this morning at Salem Terrace @ Harrogate.  Beautiful day after all the poo poo reports from the weather men.  The clouds were really moving on.

Here is the little sketch I finished before we had to break for lunch.  Plein Air is hard work.
We, the DLP's, will be painting, or making cards, next week, Wed. the 12th, at 2nd Helpings Gallery on Williamson Rd. from about 10:30 til 1.
We would love for you to come by and chat.  Take a tour through this impressive little gallery.

Appalachian Trail

Hey Friends,  Just listed this little landscape in an Ebay auction, starting at a penny.  This is one of the well worn paths you would see if hiking on the Appalachian Trail here in Va.  Usually I take a photo of a sign or a marker near the area of a painting. But NOT this time.
There were a lot of beautiful little delicate ferns growing along this section and over the bank.  Plus a lot of colorful rocks.  And bugs and snakes and gnats and birds.  No bears this time.

This is varnished and ready to hang.  Click Here for Ebay.
