ORIGINAL MIXED MEDIA PAINTING 'TENDING HER GARDEN'

Hey Friends, Here is a painting (mixed media) of my Mom watering her tomato plants !!  As you can see I enhanced the beauty of tomato plants.  Most of Mom's efforts and space goes to her beloved tomato varieties and some peppers too.  She does start some flowers but not the colorful banquet you see here.

This will be at the Jefferson Center in the DLP Holiday Show.
The reception is Nov. 29th from 2-4pm.
Hope you can make it.

"Straw Hat" and Blue Ridge Vineyard

Hey Friends,  This painting "Straw Hat" is for auction now in Ebay.  Click Here to find out more.  This is one I did a few years ago when I was in a still life mode.  It is 10" square acrylic on panel.

And today we, the DLP's, were in Eagle Rock at the Blue Ridge Vineyard.  We were showing our work and painting the beautiful views also.  Above is a not so good photo of the painting but it shows the view I was working from pretty well.  This is my second mini of the day.
I did see one lady at this vineyard that I knew from Salem.  Next time you should be there.

A SINGLE ROSE

Hey Friends, I'm back with more stuff I found while cleaning the studio. Boy! It's amazing how I can pack boxes. I've been told the way I can pack a refrigerator is amazing too. Anyway, this is a sweet, little gardener with a sweet poem that would make a great gift for Mothers Day or a gardeners birthday. And in case you didn't know, a similar Painted Photo Collage could be created just for you, using the photos you treasure. If you scroll down, way down, I have a tutorial about these collages if you prefer to give it a try! You can find this painting in my Etsy shop by clicking HERE.
