Original 24x36 Painting

Hey Friends, Not to much to talk about right now so I thought I'd show you a painting I did a few months ago. I have not shown it yet because I can't seem to get it just right in photo shop.
I think the image above is as good as it gets (for me). It's almost exactly the same as the painting. I never would have dreamed that I could finally do this sort of thing with photo shop. I believe the answer is that I lost my fear of computers. If I screw up I just shut the thing off, and come back later.
The yard work is killing me, how about you guys? I was exhausted just from trying to start the mower! But it's all done and I get to paint ALL day tomorrow!!!
Now go read this post from Luann Udell - It should clear up a few things for you.

Happy Trails.

Love the horses! you did great in Photoshop.

yard work is killing me too but that doesn't stop me... I love it and would rather dig than shovel snow!

I love the horses in this Sue!

And I am so glad you came to the realization about computers. Since I am a geek, it's good to know when people tame their fears about technology. You did it! Yay!

Gardening? Mine is in desperate need of a clean up and I won't get to that for at least another couple of weeks...spring doesn't hit at our elevation (7,500') until later in May anyway! Whew.

Cows--now horses. Nice painting, Sue.

So far I've just made mental notes of what needs to be done in the yard. I pulled a few dandelions but noticed little rabbits were nibbling on them outside my kitchen window. For nature's sake, I'm letting them grow (ha).

Congratulations on conquering PhotoShop.

Wow! Thanks again you guys. I don't usually post my bigger stuff on blogger. Next time I'm in need of encouragement (or a critique) I'll post a big one again!
Happy painting for now.

i love it! Horses along a local river? And yes, yard work is very tedious, very self rewarding, but still a pain in the butt...:)
